In de bibliotheek staat een aantal lage houten leestafels. Midden op één van die tafels, die verder helemaal leeg is, liggen drie eieren.
Want één ei is geen ei en twee ei een half ei. Maar drie ei is representatie.

Het eerste ei, is materiële werkelijkheid. Zijn schaal, ruw object, fragiel en onvolmaakt, staat voor fysieke existentie.
2.
Het tweede ei, ei van perceptie, overstijgt dat fysieke zijn. Het is subjectieve visie, emotie en ervaring.
3.
Het derde ei, deur naar het oneindige, naar het al en de kosmos, is verbeelding. Verbeelding, van idee, van droom. Het is het ei van potentie, kunst, creativiteit, en toekomstvisie. Zijn schaal? Die is leeg, leeg doek, wit papier. Die schaal is stilte.
